I would like to thank the staff and volunteers that organised the COVID vaccine clinic from the moment I phoned to book a appointment to when i received my jab the care and treatment was excellent .
Well done BMC .
I wanted to say how kind Lucy was when I needed to make an appointment.
After a recent visit about an ongoing problem I found, getting to where I needed to be, was so much easier than it has been in the past, before covid and both lockdowns.
Receptionist on telephone previous to visit and on day of visit seemed to understand/ empathise/ inform me of what could be done/ suggested route... before, conversations were matter of fact and felt like you had to plead your case before the judge ( receptionist) to be able to get to see a doctor......
This last visit and the past two conversations with the receptionist have made me feel so so cared for and understood...a condition I have has been diagnosed and I am so delighted and grateful from my experience with the receptionists, the nurses ( as always, and doctors) and doctors.
I have complained previously about the service at this surgery, particularly the attitude one admin staff and one Gp. I have needed to use the surgery a few times from the end of Nov through to an appointment booked for the new year.
The admin staff have been kind and courteous, I have not had to wait long to get through to the surgery on the phone. The Doctors that I have spoken to have been kind and really listened to what I have told them, they have called quite late in the evenings sometimes but I was warned of this and appreciate fully the hours they must be putting in all that they are trying to do to help people at this time.
Overall I have been really impressed and very grateful.
Hopeless - I have an eye condition which the the optician tells me requires further examination - cannot get an appointment, phone lines constantly engaged and there are none available on line.
When Invicta took over we were promised improvements on the dire service that was on offer but what we have now is even worse!
COVID should have been an opportunity to shine and showcase digital, instead it's used as an excuse to fail with a half cock 'digital' barrier between practice and patients.
